My wife and I are travelling in Germany and Italy and cant figure out which train pass to get. We basically have about 10 days where we will be traveling via train. Please help! Thanks!

Depending upon your itinerary and whether or not you can commit to specific departure dates and times to take advantage of booking discount fares in advance, point-to-point tickets can be cheaper than a pass in Germany. And even last minute walk up fares in Italy are cheaper than a pass. What's your itinerary?
