German train for 10 euros?

Well as you might imagine, you get what you pay for. No A/C or wifi, late half the time, no food or drink.

But it's 10 euros! I don't think Thibault will be riding them again anytime soon.

I don't like the late trains, as long it's not more than 10-15 minutes. Otherwise, no problem at all.

No AC, no problem. That was like my summer trips in the 1970s and 1980s but the windows could be opened then, still it was a broiler if the the temp was over 80F

Bottom line...for 10 Euro I'll take it.

Regarding AC/no AC: Trains where you cannot open the windows will have AC. Nowadays new trains no longer have windows that open because the TSI norms do not permit it anymore for mainline trains.
