German Rail Site Question

I apologize if this has been posted before (and i'm sure it has). I tried using the search function but didn't really get anything. I just have a simple question regarding purchasing train tickets on-line from the German rail site.

We're travelling from paris to munich in October and I'm planning on booking the 90 days in advance to get the super saver fares (so much cheaper). Anyways, as I progress on, the only way they will give me tickets is in the mail. Does anyone know if they mail your tickets overseas or do I have to have a European address?

Thanks for any advice.

i"m pretty sure they mail the tickets worldwide, but most of the times I have seen, these offers include self-print tickets, at least for ticket offers entirely inside Germany. I think somewhere I have seen that the tickets are delivered in Germany in three days but elsewhere in the world in eight business days.

I noticed when I was buying our tickets for 90 days out that the self-print option wasn't available until the 90 day mark. For some reason, some of the trips I looked at (and kept checking...and checking!) beyond the 90 day window would show you could get them mailed, but not until it was 90 days out could I get the super cheap special and print the tickets. We printed ours no problem.

Remember the time zone difference between here and Germany so you can get online midnight their time and it's still late afternoon/early evening here!

Thank you so much for your replies. I have to wait until July to hit that 90 day window. That should give them lots of time to get mailed to me if I don't get the option to self-print ;o)

April,
I had DB mail tickets to me here in the states a few months ago after buying online. I think it took about a week at the most for me to get them in the mail.
