I have booked a train ticket to Avignon from Geneva. The trip has one stop in Valence to get on the TVG to Avignon. On the ticket to Valence it has the departure as Geneve Voyaguers …is this located in Cornavin station in Geneva? Thanks!

The main station in Geneva is just called "Geneve". The Cornavin moniker is informal. And yes, it is where also the trains to France leave from. Note that you will change trains in Valence TGV, not Valence Ville...
