Closure of Ciampino airport
Giovan Battista Pastine Ciampino airport will be temporarily closed from 22:00 on 14/10/2016until 18:00 on 29/10/2016 in order to perform work to upgrade and maintain the runway
The closure will allow for the delivery of maintenance work - which will be carried out on a 24/7 basis - on parts of runway 15/33, and on various junctions and taxiways, so that they can fulfill the normal operational life for this type of infrastructure.
Throughout this period, flights will be transferred to Leonardo da Vinci airport at Fiumicino:
Commercial aviation passenger lines (Wizzair e Ryanair): planned for terminal 2
Commercial cargo aviation: planned to take place at cargo city, Fiumicino
General Aviation: at non-peak times
