Does anyone know how I can get from Cesky Krumlov to Bratislava in August? I don't want to take forever if I can help it. Where should I look for bus/train timetables?

Just be aware that you will need to take the local train from Krumlov/Krumau up to Ceske Budejovice/Budweis. Then you have two options - take the train going east via Brno to Vienna, and thence to Bratislava. Or take the train to Linz, Austria and then one of the frequent trains going to Vienna.
