From Brussels to Amsterdam - which station?

We'll be coming in to Brussels at the Midi station from London on the Eurostar. We plan on spending the afternoon in Brussels and then catching the ICE from Brussels to Amsterdam.

The question is, which station in Brussels do I want to travel from? It seems as though there are ICE trains from both the Nord and Midi stations. I recall someone telling me a while back that there were trains every 15 minutes between these two, but what I'm seeing at bahn.de is hourly at best. Can anyone fill me in on this?

They've cut back on the schedule, there is indeed only one train an hour these days. Most all the intercity trains leave from all three stations in Brussels to Amsterdam. Central station is closest to most of the tourist sites. From Midi there are trains about 5 minutes apart that will get you to Central-your Eurostar ticket will cover the fare. I typically drop my bags off at Central and take the train to AMS from there.
