My daughter and her friend are staying for two nights on the Aran Island of Inishmor . They would like to see the Cliffs of Moher on the way back via ferry and then on to the Shannon Airport. Suggestions for how this may be accomplished in a timely manner so that they may catch a 5:25 pm flight to Edinburgh.

I am not aware of any way to do this. I did want to make you aware that if the weather is bad the day your daughter leaves the island, the ferries may not be able to sail, and she could possibly miss her flight.

As another poster pointed out, getting of the island in order to catch the flight can be a risky business, especially with the ferry to/from Doolin.. Here is wat RS himself has to say: "Boats from Doolin to the Aran Islands can be handy, but they are often canceled or run late. Even a balmy day can be too windy (or the tide can be too low) to allow for a sailing from Doolin's crude little port. If you're traveling under tight time limits, don't risk sailing from Doolin."

Thank you for the responses. Any info on a taxi from Doolin to the Shannon Airport?
