1)If we plan to buy a train ticket from avranches to caen for next saturday morning (4 people) is there a danger of it being sold out? 2). Same for 2 weeks from now going from caen to Paris? If so should I and can I buy the tickets a few days before at another train station in france? Thanks!

1. Probably not unless there is some special event that puts pressure on that route. There are lots of trains. And first class almost never sells out so that is always the fall back position. 2. Same answer. 3. You can buy any ticket at any train station.
