Trying to book a trip on SNCF but can't get an english version of the web site. I should have paid more attention in my high school french class.

If you don't have time to brush up on your French, go to www.tgv-europe.com. To keep from getting a booking page in French or from being bumped to the Rail Europe site where fares are higher, choose Great Britain as both your country of residence and the country in which you will retrieve your tickets. Don't worry. You'll be able to pick up your tickets at any SNCF station in France by presenting the credit card used when booking and the confirmation number you'll be sent by e-mail. If you can get a PREM'S (discount) fare, you print the ticket yourself and take it with you.
