Hi, The Swiss pass covers free entry to Mt. Titis, Mt. Rigi, Mt. Pilatus and Jungfraujoch? Or do we need to pay additional amount to get there? Thanks
I didn't understand the question. Swiss Pass gives 50% discount on the rail route to the Jungfraujoch, but there is no "entrance fee" to speak of, unless you want to do some extra activities on the area like sports, guided trails etc.
Hi, Thanks for your response. However about the cable cars to Mt. Titlis, Mt. Pilatus and Mt. Rigi? Does swiss pass covers that or is it also 50% discount for the cable car ride to the peak? I am just asking does the price covers the return journey cost to these destinations?
Have a look at this map: http://www.railguide.jp/routemap/pdf/015.pdf It will give you some very good answers to your questions about Swiss Pass discounts.
The Swiss Pass will cover 50% of the cost of sightseeing rides like the cogwheel train or cable car up and down Oilatus. It will cover 100% of the train or boat ride from Luzern to Alpnachstad where the cogwheel train up Pilatus starts. Similarly, the Swiss Pass will cover 50% of the cost to ride the cogwheel train or cable car up Rigi. It will cover 100% of the boat ride from Luzern to Weggis or Vitznau where you catch the lift or cogwheel train. And it will cover 100% of the train ride from Luzern to Engleberg. I believe it will cover 50% of the Rotair cable car up Titlis, but I will check on that to confirm. Edit: Swiss Pass will cover 50% of the Rotair cable car, but not of any of the activities up there, including the Ice Flyer chairlift.
