I am just about to buy a tiket from Frankfurt to Strasbourg France.
There are about 4 or 5 Strasbourg options. I just want the main train station. Is it possible there is a Strasbourg that is in another part of Europe? I notice that with other towns there seems to be more that one? thanks

only 1 as far as I know. Which website? You want Gare or Hbf depending on language, or simply Strasbourg. The others are likely bus stops.

It's just plain "Strasbourg". Usually, the town name alone designates the main station. The stops, often with hyphens, are minor stations or bus stops. Using the Bahn website, when you find connections, click the '>' symbol at the left of the connection to expand it to individual legs. Look at the progression of stations. You go first to "Strasbourg", then to Strasbourg-Roethig. That's a clue. If you get there by ICE, TGV, ie major train, it will probably be the main station. You get to Strasbourg-Roethig via regional train. That's a clue. You will see an icon at the bottom with the word "map". Click it to see if you are going where you want to go.
