If our flight into CDG arrives a bit late, and we are able to get to the TGV station at the airport right in the nick of time, is it possible to get the rail pass validated by the conductor on board the train instead of having to wait in line to have it done at the ticket window? Anyone ever been in this situation?

You'll have to wait in line anyway, because you'll need to pay for a reservation....hopefully there are still some left for railpass holders. You may want to consider making reservations before you leave.
