They have really stepped up security at FRA since we used it last May. To get through to the International flights, they have added another security check. In addition, keep your receipts for wine, ect, that you purchase in duty free or they will not be allowedeven though they are in the secure bags. We did have a 70 minute connection, and we made it to C13 in 50 minutes from B10, even with the security check.

That wasn't my experience at FRA two weeks ago. I flew from Schipol to FRA for a connecting flight to Newark, and didn't have to go through security at all! Only security check was in Amsterdam. Last time I used the airport in 2006 I had to go through three security checks: General security, security to get to the portion of the terminal that handles transatlantic flights, and at the gate.
