My wife and I will be traveling from St. Pancras, England to Paris by Eurostar. From there we plan to take a train to Turin (have reservation for accomodation there), on to Florence (have reservation for accomodation there) and on to Civitavecchia (have reservation for accomodation there). Should we buy a four day Eurail pass (we would use the fourth day after an 11-day cruise to get from Civitavecchia to the airport in Rome) or pay for each component individually? We have no flexibility (due to accomodation reservations and the cruise departure) so expect to pay for train reservations for each leg. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
