We are traveling to CDG on June 25, 2008 and will be getting a train at Gare de Lyon to Dijon. I would like to make a stop at Fontainebleau since we get in early. Can we leave our bags at the station. We will only have carry on's. Kudos to us we are staying until July 12. Two nights in Dijon, 10 nights on a self cruise boat in Burgundy and then back to Paris for 4 nights.

The SNCF site has a list of stations that have left luggage facilities. The stations are all in major cities. Although I can't say for sure, that probably means that the Fontainebleau-Avon station has no such facilities.
However, according to pidf.com, the chateau has a left luggage office.
