flying to paris from sea-tac

I'm going to france, a bit east of Paris, at the end of august to become an au pair. I've been looking at tickets on expedia and a couple other sites. I think the cheapest I've found is just under 700 going to CDG. Is there any other place to check, or is that the best I'm likely to find?

Have you tried "Kayak" yet? If not "Google" it.

my travel agent was able to beat any fare i found on-line. sometimes travel agents who deal often with certain carriers are able to get discounted loyalty rates and may pass discounts on to clients.

Also check priceline. I found a ticket from Sea-tac to Paris (return from Rome to Sea-tac) for $600. This is for a trip in May so your prices may vary.

700 dollars is great for August. You may be sorry if you pass it up.

Susan, are you flying out of Vancouver?? Which airline did your agent find you, I have never had a travel agent find me a better deal then I could on my own so I am quite surprised at your findings. Did she charge you a fee?

Kari, if you are willing to leave Sept 4 there are one way flights out of Vancouver B.C. for 596.00 and that includes all taxes...on Zoom Airlines. Check out their website. Maybe so lovely relative( dear old dad,) would consider driving you up to Vancouver, I mean you are going thousands of miles away and all...
They had serveral flights in August in the 600-700 dollar range also.
