What's the best way to fly to Lisbon from Houston without a long layover in London or Paris? I can't seem to find any flights. Does it make sense just to stay overnight and then fly the next day?
have you used google flights to search?
United flys out of EWR direct to LIS, that was the first return I found.
See what TAP has to offer, while they have no flights to Houston they have flights to several other US cities.
I've found TAP's best prices to Lisbon are out of Boston. 2 years' ago we flew RT for $600, however, I found it was cheaper to fly SWA to BOS than to use their partner from RDU. Did check bags on SWA but arrived early enough that it was no hassle to p/u in Boston and re-check on TAP. Returning, did the same in reverse with no hassles.
We flew from San Francisco to Newark then to Lisbon on United. It worked well, though we try to avoid United whenever possible because of a few unpleasant United flights. Lisbon and Portugal are incredible. Hank,Novato, Ca
I"ve tried several booking sites but not Google Flights. Thanks for the tip.
