Northwest has a lot cheaper non stop flights from Seattle to London than BA. Anyone have experience with Northwest European flights? I have flown via BA and liked that, but would also like to save some $$
THANKS

This is a brand new flight starting in June. Last year I flew Spokane to London and then Amsterdam to Seattle on NWA. Both flights were fine on what seemed newer airplanes with video monitors on the back of the seats, etc. Food ok, free wine and beer, flight staff were friendly most of the time, smooth flight. I have never flown BA so I can't compare but it was much better than US Air.
I see you fly out of Spokane - is it just me or does it drive you crazy to fly to Seattle for an hour, sit there, and then in another hour you are back over Spokane.
I just flew to London last month on Northwest - they were fantastic. I was a little worried since I'd heard so much about them cancelling flights last summer, but had absolutely no problems. Planes were in very nice condition with great entertainment - over 30 movies to pick from and computer games! No complaints at all and I am hoping to book with them on my trip to Germany in May.
How much was the NW flight from Seattle to London?
$666 including everything.
I've flown BA, AA, Delta and NW airlines. In my mind BA was the best. NW and Delta were tied for second and AA was the worst. BA had better than expected food and service. Delta and NW about what I expected and AA less than expected. None were so bad that I wouldn't fly them again. If I can save a few hundred on a flight, that's more to spend when I get there.
Having lived in Spokane for 20 plus years, it drove me crazy how hard it is to travel from there - especially having to fly the wrong direction, stop for a layover, then head the right direction and pay additional charges/taxes for my trouble.
That's why, on my last job search, I moved to the Atlantic.
Go Zags!
