Any ideas? I know I'll have to fly into London, Paris (my preference) or Germany on an American airline and then take a Europeaan budget flight to Ljubljana. Any advice? Leaving in June 2008.
I checked www.whichbudget.com for budget airlines that fly to Ljubljana--it looks like Wizzair flies from Brussels and Easyjet flies from London Stansted. If you haven't been to Ljubljana before you'll really enjoy it! We flew to Budapest and took a train from there to Ljubljana.
Thanks for the info. I don't have the luxury of time for a train ride; my husband doesn't travel and got an odontoid fracture of C2 this past July. His kids will come and help out but he is able to take care of himself at this time. I won't feel guilty being gone for 15 days but am usually gone longer. It's my retirement too! I may try to fly in and out of Brussels--depends on the air fare.
The Slovenian national airline, Adria, flies to several cities within Europe (including Paris). Check their website www.adria.si for cities and prices.
Thanks Frank! I've narrowed it down to going through Paris or Brussels. Going through London is way more complicated since I'm planning to just change airlines.
