Need advice. August 2011, will be flying from AUSTRALIA.
Want to do some train travel through GERMANY down to CHAMIOUX and see MONT BLANC...
Thinking of taking a train over to MADRID or BARCELONA, and having a look at some places in SPAIN AND PORTUGAL..then driving thru BORDEAUX onto PARIS.
Now i know it seems involved. There are 2 couples, and we have about 19 days.
We were thinking of doing some rail (EURAIL PASS) and SOME DRIVING.
so should we start and fly into FRANKFURT..go down that way...or fly into PARIS, DO THAT SIDE FIRST and go across up to FRANKFURT..
or should we just do the rail all the way.
Any advice would be greatful, and we know we are not going to see much of any place in that time.
