I will be traveling to Europe in July. I have a flight booked to Dublin, Ireland from the United States where I will be staying for a week. Then I will fly to London for a few days and then Oslo. From the research that I have done and from my understanding Ireland and United Kingdom are NOT part of the Schegen countries. When I arrive in Oslo will I have to go through customs again? At that time will customs stamp my passport stating that I arrived in my first Schegen country and have 90 days to travel?
Just want to clarify something for you.... customs does not deal with passports. They care about the goods that you are bringing into a country. It is immigration (aka passport control) that determines if you are allowed to enter a country and stamps your passport. When you arrive in Norway, you will go through passport control and your passport should be stamped. You will then walk through customs (Norway is not a member of the EU). Most people walk through the "green" (nothing to declare) lane.
