Has anyone booked their tickets to Europe through this site?
I've been checking various sites regularly and they have
the best price by over $300 per ticket. We are flying
SFO to FLR and CDG to SFO in May.
I used them to book my first trip to Italy in 2007. No problems at all. The schedule underwent several changes and they notified me each time (unlike vayama that I used the following year...but that's a different story).
As I recall, flycheapabroad is one of the better sites for disclosing the price with tax on the search results. The main 2 things to watch out for are a) if you have a complicated problem, they may not be able to help you and the airline might also give you the runaround, and b) sometimes their information is 'hidden' but you can usually figure it out with some cross-checking. The ticket I bought didn't disclose the airline, but by running the itinerary on a different site, I figured out it was on Alitalia.
In short, I was happy with them & I wouldn't have any qualms about booking with them again.
I also had found a great deal that beat other deals by about $450 in 2008 and I used them for my trip to London. I had no issues with them at all and there was a slight schedule change per the airlines and flycheapabroad emailed me right away to let me know and also emailed me right before my trip as a reminder.
We booked with them last year and had no problems. They seemed to have the best prices; but just as importantly; had the greatest number of flight options of all the sites we tried.
We often could not find as good of a deal as offered through the flycheapabroad when we accessed the airline site directly.
We booked with flycheapabroad last summer and had no problems. Itinerary showed up on the airline's web site as well, and I called the airline directly with any questions I had. Also, as others have stated before, I received emails notifying me of any changes to our itinerary -- a luxury I often have not received when dealing directly with an airline. I plan to use them again. I saved more than $300 per ticket by using them.
