must check out from Paris in morning 6/30 and check in at Lake Como 7/1. Originlly planned couchette but warned cheaper to fly. This messed up arriving too early on 6/30 making hotel reservation in Milan 1 day early. Help

Why not spend the 1st nite @ a reasonable airport hotel then train to Lake Como in the morning. By the way did you have a reasonable stay in lake como? I will be traveling there in late july.

thank u Francis for taking time to reply - decided to go ahead with original plan tho cheaper 2 fly, too much hassle will copy here a reply from Larry & Tim for ez site to take couchette: www.tgv-europe.com & be sure specify as Great Britain as country as Great Britain as country as residence even tho not & can pick up tickets at any SNCF in France - see my name jackie and response from Larry & Tim. We stay Lake Como in Varenna at Casa di Mezzo, Vzrenna, Lake Como
