I want to go see a show in Florence, it is the 10th anniversary of Notre Dame de Paris, one of my favorite plays of all time.
But I cannot figure out a way to get home. The show starts at 9:30 at night. The buses dont run past 10 and the trains from what I understand do not run past 11. A cab would be okie if it was 40-50 euros but driving alone at night with some driver freaks me out. Any advice?
I'd stay the night in Florence... If you already have reservations in Siena you can't get out of, then find something very cheap (hostel, convent) and consider it as part of your ticket cost. I'm not riding in a taxi by myself at midnight...and I'd really rather not have to deal with a bus OR train at that hour, either. I don't see any trains after 23:07, and 3/4 of that trip (1 1/2 hours) is by bus...
