We are leaving Florence on 7/3 to go to Rome. Since we will have all of our luggage with us, what is the best mode of transportation?

Rome's only about 1 1/2 hours from Florence by train directly into Termini station. The price last year was about 35 euro second class. You can't beat it.

IC trains: 3hr14min for €28.00.
Regionale trains: 4hr10min for €16.10.
All fares are 2nd class.
