any suggestions on how to get from Florence to Prague reasonably? Traveling with my daughter in late August/early September and wonder where to stay in Prague...B&B or hostel?

You have quite a travel itinerary. Edinburgh/Rome and now Florence/Prague. Prague is 700 miles from Florence. By train, you are looking at 18.5hrs-21.5hrs journey with up to 4 train changes depending on which run you choose.
