Before you arrive in Monaco make sure you know which exit from the station you want. There are at least 7 ways out into the town, and they are all at different levels and use different elevators and escalators to move you around the town.

dave I'll chip in on getting to up the rock to the Palais and to the Casino area, but first would you prefer to walk or take the frequent and cheap bus? One way you go up, the other down. Both are good ways - your preference?
