When using the left-luggage office at the train station, keep in mind there will probably be lengthy queue at the counter. I have witnessed plenty of people miss their trains because they didn't factor in the amount of time it may take to retrieve their stored bags.

A couple of things to note:
1). That luggage room used to be accessed from the inside of the station, but now you enter from the outside.
2). You will need to hand over your passport for copying when you check luggage, so it saves time to have it ready.
