we will be leaving a rental car in florence for 3 days while traveling with a group to rome via train-where can i park that is safe?

The train station has parking, but it is not very affordable. Some hotels provide overnight parking, does yours? (again, it won't be cheap). I hope someone can come up with a better idea for you: overnight parking in Florence is such a headache!

Have you considered returning the car and then rerenting upon your return.
