I'm planning a trip to Barcelona, Spain from Dallas in May 2013 and see that AA has good options for flights but is anyone experiencing/anticipating problems with them (cancellations, etc)?
Who knows? Tomorrow marks a year since AA filed for chapter 11, but who knows what will happen between now and May.
What price are you looking at? You can fly on BA for $1120, at least for th eMay dates I looked at. Some flight options were mixed AA and BA, but the all-BA options were the same price.
Thanks for the info. I'm trying to decide if booking anything to do with AA--including BA--is worth the risk tho clearly they have the best options.
What "risk" is there in booking BA flights on the BA website?
Sorrytalking about BA where AA is the carrier. I will go to the BA site. Thanks.
We flew rt DFW-BCN via Madrid a couple of years ago. Booking with Iberia saved us $100 per ticket. The DFW-MAD leg was AA which connected to Iberia on to BCN. We flew AA a few weeks ago with no difficulties.
