We will be traveling to Israel in January and will be going to Barcelona from Tel Aviv. Does anyone know of an inexpensive one way ticket (airline)? El Al wants over $800 for the ticket. Thanks,

Hi Nancy, I looked on www.whichbudget.com and found possible flights on Vueling, Spanair, Air Europa and Air Berlin. Not sure if your dates will work but check them out!

We generally use Whichbudget to pick one of the lo-cost inter EU airlines. And we have had great success with these airlines. But......you need to pay VERY CLOSE attention to luggage rules on them. Most only allow one carry-on; ie not a purse and carry-on; ONE item only. and their carry-on size and weight regs are pretty restrictive. Some fly in and out of obscure airports; so you need to watch this also. But...if you read and follow their rules you can be rewarded with a very lo-cost flight.
