We are trying to get a flight from either Croatia or Bosnia that flies into Amsterdam. Do you know if there are any airlines that make this connection?

I actually found a direct flight from Zagreb, Croatia to Amsterdam with Croatia Airlines on www.dohop.com.

Rachael, I went to skyscanner.net and found flights out of Croatia only. Since the Netherlands wasn't a choice for a direct flight, I found a connection to Vienna and from there to Amsterdam.

Thank you so much, Darcy. I just looked it up and it's pretty cheap! I have a couple more questions about Croatia, if you've traveled around there.... is Plitvice National Park with the waterfalls worth the excursion?

WE are flying British Air from Dubrovnik to Gatwick and connecting to Amsterdam.

It's been a few years, Rachel, but when I was living/working in Holland/Yugoslavia (mostly BiH) the former SwissAir had a daily flight in/out of Sarajevo from Schiphol via Zurich, as did Austrian Airlines via Vienna, and Croatian Airlines via Zagreb; nothing direct. We preferred Swissair (now just 'Swiss' I believe), but the other two worked in a pinch on short notice when Swiss was full-up. Query 'Airport Sarajevo' and you'll see who comes in and out every day (I did and it appears Swiss has written off Sarajevo) and there are several but none direct to Schiphol.

I am Croat by origin and run a specialist flight finder website (www.whichbudget.com), so I was keen to help. As you probably found out, there are no cheap direct flights, but if you fly via another airport, you can find a good deal.
