flights from Barcelona to Amsterdam on Berlin Air

Hello all,

My question involves air line policy but I haven't been able to get info from Berlin Air.
I am traveling from the US to Ansterdam by way of Barcelona.
I can book a ticket on Kayak that combines the three stops on three different airlines.
I will stay in Barcelona for a few days and want to go to Mallorca for a few days before seeing friends in Amsterdam. The flight from BAR to AMS goes through Parmi Mallorca on Berlin Air
My question is: if I fly to Mallorca on my own, can I miss the first leg of the BAR-Parmi-AMS flight? I would just check in at Parmi to catch the flight to AMS. Or would this create problems for me with the airline, since I would have missed the first flight>

Thanks
AJH

Kayak doesn't sell tickets, they are a search engine. To answer your question, you can't catch the plane in Parmi. If you don't board the plane in Barcelona, your entire reservation is canceled.

If you don't show for the first leg of your flight, you will be declared a no-show, and they will cancel the other legs of your flight.
I assume you've already booked tickets. If not, look for an "open jaw" or "multi-city" routing that will bring you into Barcelona and out of Mallorca.

buy tickets for the flights you intend to take. Otherwise, as Norm points out, they will cancel your flights if you miss the 1st leg.
