Flights back to Seattle from Cinque Terre?

We will be ending our trip to Italy in the Cinque Terre, what is the best airport to depart from for the return to Seattle, Milano or Pisa? We are booking through KLM, AirFrance or British using Alaska miles. Thanks for any advice.

We used Alaska miles last year to go to Europe and ended up being routed thru Texas both going and coming home. Alaska to Texas then KLM back and forth to Europe. All of our travel was planned out by calling Alaskan Airlines number for its code share milage partners. I had to call numerous times to get someone who would take the time to really get involved in solving our transportation needs. I started calling them 330 days before our return home date which was the earliest you could request FF tickets. It does no good to start calling on the outbound date since you need R/T tickets.
Good luck.

Pisa is closer than Milan, but since you are using miles, you may have to be flexible. If you can't get a flight out of Pisa or Milan, try Genoa (also not far from the Cinque Terre).

Doug, You'll probably find a greater availability of flights from Milano / MXP, so I'd suggest looking at that first. Depending on code share arrangements, you could end up with a flight to London, Frankfurt or Amsterdam first, and then from there to Seattle. Happy travels!
