Flight from Geneva to Amsterdam--and a Google Flights Question

I'm finally trying to finalize flight selections for our trip in June and I have a couple questions. If we are flying KLM from Geneva to Amsterdam, and changing there for a flight to LAX, how early do we need to get to the airport for a intra-European flight? We will be checking bags since we will have hiking poles with us, so even though we will check in online, we will need to drop off those bags.

Also, we will be changing planes in Amsterdam both ways, and have a 2 hour layover both times. Is that enough time? We did a 40 minute transfer back in 2017, but I wouldn't want to try that again--too nerve-wracking. (Delta cancelled our original flight so we had to choose the least of two evils--short in AMS or way too tight in CDG!)

Finally, if I look at round-trip tickets on Google Flights, it automatically tells me if the tickets are high, low or average in price. When I do a multi-city check (we are flying into Brussels and back from Geneva), that feature doesn't appear automatically. Is there a way to find it, or is it just not available for that type of itinerary? FWIW--round trip to both Brussels and Geneva show average pricing right now.

The Schiphol transfer question comes up a lot - here are a few posts from the last six months. Two hours should be enough but you'll want to prepare by looking at the airport's website for your specific travel day (it will tell you how busy the airport is anticipated to be). https://search.ricksteves.com/?button=&date_range=6m&filter=Travel+Forum&query=connection+time+schiphol&utf8=%E2%9C%93

AFAIK there is no way in Google Flights to find out multi city price history (presumably because that would be about an infinity of combinations that they would have to track). I am also trying to book a summer season multi city flight and just set up fare tracking for several date options for my city pairs to see how the fares are changing. In the past week they have changed pretty much daily, in the direction of upwards, unfortunately.

We flew from Geneva to Amsterdam on KLM mid day last August. Two hours was more than enough time to check our bags (I had hiking poles) and even get a sandwich. Two hours should also be more than enough time to make your way thru passport control and on to your gate in Amsterdam. We did this a couple of years ago on a flight that originated in Athens, it was a bit of a walk but plenty of time.

Because you can't multi-city track, try setting up Alerts for round trip tickets for both your origin city and your return flight. I've found this to be fairly accurate. Good luck!
