We need to get from Edinburg, Scotland to Milan, Italy on Sunday August 21st. The flights have unusually long connections. How can we travel in less time?
Thanks
Carolyn, I checked whichbudget.com and found similar results to those Tim posted. Flights with EasyJet for August 21 were listed at £303.99 PP (or about US$441.32). The rates were slightly cheaper on the Saturday, and considerably cheaper on the Monday (£153.99). The flights are 3H:30M, which is probably about the quickest you'll find. The next quickest in terms if flight times is BMI Air. There's a layover in Brussels, but the flight time is only 4H:05M. However, I didn't check the prices. At this late date (in terms of booking with budget airlines), you may have to just increase the budget and use EasyJet. You'll be leaving Edinburgh at about the time I arrive there! Good luck and happy travels!
Carolyn Can you be titch more explicit. Where are the long connections? How long is long?
Here's what I found on the search engine skyscanner.com. At this late date the fare is high ($552 US), but you can fly direct on easyJet. Your cheapest route would be on Flybe: Edinburgh-Birmingham and Birmingham-Milan for $172 US.
