Hi All,
How early would you plan to be at Charles de Gualle airport, with a flight to Keflavik airport? Not sure if this route is considered international and requires more processing time.

Is the flight only to Keflavik, or are you flying on to the States after a connection there ?

ONLY to KEF. We will fly to the States, but not until the following day, late afternoon. We are staying at the Airport Hotel the night we arrive in Iceland.

If this is all on one ticket, yes it will be considered international.

France and Iceland are different countries, so yes it's an international flight. Although they are both in Schengen.

If the question is, "When does Icelandair open the check in counter?" the answer is not more than 2-1/2 hours before the flight. Remember you want the smaller T1 at CDG, which is easier to navigate.
Not sure what you plan to do with your short time in KEF.

Badger--I know that, but apparently pain pills after surgery are not the best to try and explain things.
