Delta changed one leg of our rountrip flights. The email says I can rebook at no extra cost.
I’m fine with the leg they changed, but would like to change the first leg going out. Will they let me do that?

I probably should have just done that. They can’t do it easily like that, but they are cancelling my flight and issuing a total refund and I’m in the process of purchasing the new tickets.

For future reference, in my experience on Delta, a flight change usually will allow an agent to make other changes that you wouldn't even think they should. We've used a flight change to drop legs and change departing/arriving airports. I've heard accounts of others being able to change the dates of their flights. Anytime there's a change by Delta and you want to do other changes to suit yourself, always call them. If you don't get the answer you like the first time, hang up and call again (HUCA).

And it helps to have the exact flight #’s & times ready for them that you want vs. saying I would like to go earlier, don’t like the new route, etc.
