flat fees of tour guides

we are planning a trip to Normandy through a guided company. The rep says the fee is 300 euros regardless of the number of passengers. Do the passengers split the fees on site, or what is the procedure?

Sounds like you have contracted for a 300 E guide for your group/family etc. You decide how to divide it. They are not going to add extra people to your group. We often do that with cruises stops and then find some people to share it with us.
