FIY: Eurail [INVALID] Passes no longer valid in France from 2013

I commented this on other thread, but as France is part of many Helpiners itineraries, I think it deserves an own thread. Starting 1/1/2013, SNCF is withdrawing from Eurail Select Pass. People who buy passes before 12/31/2012 and activate them before 6/30/2013 will still be able to use it in France. After 7/1/2013, Eurail Select Pass will no longer be valid on SNCF. Great scoop. France will continue to participate in the Eurail Global Pass but will no longer participate in the 3, 4 or 5-day Eurail Select passes.
