We're interested in taking the ferry from Venice/Rovinj or reverse. Does anyone have suggestions, comments, experience?

I used Venezia Lines hyrdofoil a few years ago and was pleased with the service. It departs Venice around 5:15pm, but doesn't run every day. I went from Rovinj to Venice, which is a very early departure, around 6:30am. Schedules and prices can be found on their website. Note that 2013 service ends on October 5. If you plan to use the hydrofoil, I'd suggest prepurchasing your ticket online. I did that and picked up my ticket in Rovinj. I also spent the extra 7.50 euro for VIP lounge seating and thought it was worth the upgrade (more comfortable seats and room to spread out).
