Ferry Service Piran-Venice

I am having a hard time finding ferry service from Piran to Venice, it seems that the Venezia line is not longer operating this route. Alternatives include from Porec Croatia or Izola, or the train. Any suggestions on best way to travel from Piran to Venice? including transfers to get to the ferry considering I am not planning on renting a car. Also, I will be travelling beginning of Oct which seems to complicate matters. Thanks
