Will be staying in Istanbul, Turkey and want to Greek Island hop for a few days and end up in Athens. Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

There are no ferries from Istanbul to the Greek islands. I think your best bet is to fly from Istanbul to Athens where you will have a wide choice of ferries and island destinations out of the Athens port of Piraeus. Then it becomes a matter of choosing the islands you want to see.

thanks so much. I know I can get a ferry to Samos from Kusadasi, so I guess I will just hop from Samos to MyKonos until I reach Pireaus. appreciate your thoughts, though

If you can get to Samos, there are all sorts of boats go to Rhodes from there. As far as I recall, most are return trips from Rhodes, but I would think you can get a one way from Samos.
