Fastest and/or Cheapest way from Venice to Interlaken

Hi, I was wondering what the fastest and/ or cheapest way would be to get from either Venice or Verona to the Interlaken area?

The easiest connection is the 7:50 am train out of Venice to Milan. Train from Milan to Spiez, then another to Interlaken. Total travel time is 6.5 hours. Fare is about $126 USD.

According to the Swiss Rail site, the standard fare for the route Michael gave is 138.60 CHF ($131 US). However, if you book well in advance (up to 90 days allowed) on that site you can get a discount fare of 87.60 CHF ($83 US).
