Faro Portugal to Rome Italy in 21 days

Aug11-Sept1: The plan is to depart from Toronto Canada and land in Faro Portugal, explore all the way north to Lisbon and travel straight to Paris, then to Monaco then to Italy and depart from Rome. Trains or cheap flights. Hostels or BnB. Advice please.
