Does the express train to Schönefeld only board passengers at the Hauptbahnhof, or is(are) there any other stop(s) in the city before heading to the airport? Is the ABC Day-Ticket accepted on the Express? By the way, what is the best transit value for getting around the city for two people traveling together over 4 days?

The Schoenefeld trains also call at Zoo, Friedrichstrasse, Alexanderplatz and Ostbahnhof, so whichever of these is close to you will be fine. (Hbf is between Zoo and Friedrichstrasse.) Yes, the ABC Day-Ticket is accepted on the Express.
