Ever flown with Aer Lingus???

There is a flight from Shannon to Bristol, England for 1.99 E- With taxes just under 30E- Seems too good to be true. Has anyone flown with them? Thanks.

I love Aer Lingus! I have flown with them on four trips to Ireland. Excellent service, friendly staff, on time. The good price you are finding is because Aer Lingus is competing with airlines like Ryanair and EasyJet on short-haul flights.

Arrived back in Chicago two nights ago on A.L. Had flights to Dublin and a flight to London.Good service. 2-4-2 seating on the long haul flight.
Best part is that we did our customs at the Dublin airport Friday before our flight back home.So we arrived back in Chicago, went right to the luggage got our suit case, then out the door.

I found the catch....baggage fees. That is okay though. Still a great deal!

Glad to hear this feedback. We got a great deal on Aer Lingus (JFK-FCO) for a mere $638.00 roundtrip. One stop though, JFK-Dublin-Rome. We usually fly non-stop, but at this great price it was too good to pass up.

If you don't mind a completely Kelly Green plane, then Aer Lingus is great! Flew from Chicago to Croatia and had a great flight. Gotta love those great accents, too.

I took an Aer Lingus flight from Amsterdam to Dublin - although it was late, it wasn't their fault (weather). I agree, great service and super Irish staff (I think it's possibly a requirement to be a redhead to be cabin crew). I also enjoyed that their in flight magazine is also my given name (Cara = friend in Gaelic)

"I think it's possibly a requirement to be a redhead to be cabin crew." Unlikely as just 10% of Irish population has red hair (yes, I know you were kidding).

Flew to and from Dublin from Heathrow on Aer Lingus and it was on time, clean and both were good flights. I would do it again.

We flew Aer Lingus JFK to Dublin to Venice and back and they were wonderful. The flight attendants went out of their way to make the flight comfortable.
