Eurostar Train Stops in Naples, Italy

We will be traveling from Rom to Naples in May via the Eurostar and then taking a hydrofoil from Mergellina port to Sorrento. I read somewhere that the Eurostar makes a stop at Stazione di Mergellina, but I can't confirm it as the Eurostar site just mentions the Central station. Can someone confirm one way or the other?

Italian Eurostar is a type of train and they run all over. What is the Eurostar site? Do you mean the Italian Rail website (www.trenitalia.com)? I don't know if it is what you want, but Trenitalia shows a station "NAPOLI MOLO MERGELLINA". It shows the connection from Naples Central to Mergellina as being "Bus, Underground, or other urban non-rail transport". You might want to check Naples website to see if it shows the connection. The German Rail website shows it is a "Regional Train", R xxxxx, from Piazza Garibaldi, about 15 min.

The ES AV is usually a non-stop high-speed that goes to Napoli Centrale. This station is located at the Garabaldi Plaza where the private Circumvesuviana train has a station. The metro can take you to the port. It's about a mile away. You can even walk it but reportedly, you may not want to. You can also take the taxi. The ES AV does not stop at the port.
