Is there a problem reserving tickets on the UK site rather than US? UK is £88 and the US site is $202, a difference of $28 at the current exchange rate. You collect them at the train station in either case.
What you wish to do is perfectly acceptable. I assume you know that you need to clear the Eurostar cookies on your Web browser each time you wish to sign in as a "resident" of a different country.
I didn't think there would be a problem but wanted to be sure. I figured out the cookie issue when I wanted to go to the French site and got only English. Thanks for the info Tim.
I had a similar question. Is there a penalty for USA citizens booking cheaper fares on the French version of the site?
I found fares 100£ cheaper on the French site, but I don't know how to read all of the fine print. Do you have to be a resident of France to board with a ticket purchased on the French website?
I'm running on a tight schedule with connections, and I don't want any problems at the airport.
Thanks for the replies!

US citizens are allowed to book on the Franch site, but be aware that the cheaper fares are usually non-refundable/changeable so if your flight is late, you may be out of luck.
